What Would it Mean to Your Business and Your Family if You Could Harness the Power of Television and Reach a Massive Audience of Eager Customers?

Most people don’t realize the power of having their product on the #1 home shopping channel in the world. For starters, QVC (USA) reaches an estimated 87 million homes in the United States. It only takes a fraction of those eager buyers to create a successful day and a successful career for you.

In my own experience it would take four major tradeshows consisting of 2-3 full days each of selling, to do what we have done in one ten minute appearance on QVC.

When I say tradeshow, I mean an industry event filled with buyers and vendors. The kind where you have to ship your tradeshow booth and your sample products to a convention hall, slough your way through the airport with suitcases over-packed with sales material, fly to some forsaken city, find your hotel, set up your booth display, sell for three days, then at the end of the show, breakdown, pack up, fight the hassle of the airport again, only to return home exhausted – FOUR times of doing this compared to one ten minute spot on QVC to create similar profits.

The sad part is, most people don’t know the first thing about where to start, what to do, or who to call to get their products on the fast track to marketing success.

The Secret of the Wealthy - Leverage Your Time and Your Money and Gain Maximum Exposure

One of the great secrets of the wealthy is how they leverage their time and their money to create more wealth. A simple scenario of this in action: a wealthy person hires someone at $10 an hour and bills out their services at $25 per hour.

Every hour that person works the wealthy boss makes $15 per hour profit. Multiply that over 100 employees over a forty hour work week and the wealthy boss walks away with $60,000 per week.

Another possible scenario: instead of spending a dozen hours attempting to sell an item to a small one-location store, the wealthy spend their dozen hours pitching their product to a major chain store. Or better yet, they hire someone to do it. The end result is their product then sees the benefit of 500 locations instead of one - for possibly the same amount of effort.

Monetarily, the returns are obvious. The unseen returns, however, are the increased exposure you gain from reaching a larger number of people from having your product in all the chain-store locations, which, in turn, breeds more exposure and more sales for your business.

But, if your product is that good, why even spend your time on anything other than the ultimate leverage of your time and your money – television, specifically, QVC.

Getting your product on national television with a possible audience of 87 million homes is like having a million employees standing in a million stores demonstrating your product to millions of people for you.

QVC continually racks up billions of dollars in sales from everyday products created by everyday people. It’s the secret of the wealthy, the rich and famous, Hollywood tycoons, Oprah, Bill Gates, and more.

All of these people and groups have one thing in common. They all are employing the power of leverage to their money and their time by gaining maximum exposure for themselves and their products.

If you have something to sell, QVC is one of the best ways to use the leverage of television to your advantage. And the beauty is that you don’t have to be rich and famous.

Every day, simple people with great ideas and products, sell their products and launch their businesses on QVC with one item.

Success Breeds Success – How Getting on Television Can Create a Ripple Effect for Your Product and Your Business

Once your product is on national television you can add the coveted “As Seen on TV” logo to your product. This lends credibility to your product and credibility to your company. One appearance on television can ripple open the doors to major chain store retailers, potential partners, larger companies that might want to license your products or buy your company outright. Being able to say you were on the pinnacle of televised home shopping is the calling card of calling cards and it can cause a chain reaction of success through your entire marketing efforts.

I sent a mailer to several stores announcing my first appearance on QVC and within a day of being on-air received a phone call from a major chain store asking for 25,000 units. I made money from a QVC sellout, AND I received an order from an outside source!

What Donald Trump Can Teach You About Making Millions of Dollars

Business Connections – how would you like to play Donald Trump’s golf course and hang around the clubhouse with all the other successful business people and mingle your way into successful business ventures and opportunities just because you know the people there?

Getting your shot on QVC might not put you in Trump’s clubhouse, but it puts you in the “Green Room” where everyone hangs out before and after their airings. From there I’ve made the connections that lead to numerous co-ventures, buyout offers for my business, sales and distributor connections and more.

If you get the opportunity to sell on QVC, make the best of it and get to know the people around you. It can make millions of dollars from you and is a great way of leveraging your time and your money because someone else could be doing the bulk of the work.

Being a QVC vendor also means you’ll be invited to social functions where you’ll have the chance to mingle with others of similar passion, drive, and levels of success. You might not get to share a meal with Donald Trump or even Joan Rivers, for that matter, but you’ll be able to meet many of the people behind the people making major decisions and parlay this to great mutual benefit.

Why Being on QVC is Distinctly Different than Any Other Traditional Method of Marketing

Traditional methods of reaching customers such as tradeshows, advertising in trade publications, publicity, direct-mail campaigns, creating a website, hiring a Search Engine Expert, etc., can leave you with a hefty bill. If you’re thinking about producing a commercial or infomercial be prepared to spend upwards of $125,000 – and that does not include the air time.

MYTH: You have to pay to be on QVC – WRONG!

QVC is FREE. It does not cost you a dime for air-time and the reason is because QVC is structured like a traditional store. They pay a wholesale price to you for your product that they then sell to their viewers for a markup. The cost of air-time is built into their margins much like a store builds in advertising.

But it would be misleading for me to tell you that there is no money involved in having your product on QVC because you have to manufacture and ship your product to QVC’s warehouse well in advance of your on-air date. Manufacturing is a cost to you, but the cost of going on-air is nothing.

You can quickly see how getting your product on QVC is an intelligent way to maximize your exposure and limit your costs. It is one of the best ways for many businesses to realize a profit, but possibly the only way some small businesses can blast-off into the stratosphere from their basement or garage and compete with mega million dollar companies with huge budgets.

"With an invention prototype of my own and an upcoming appointment [with QVC], Nick graciously took time to advise me on the world of on-air selling including retail and wholesale pricing metrics, on-air preparation, and building perceived value in our product. I instantly found Nick to be a down-to-earth guy and genuinely interested in me and my challenge. I could also sense from our calls that he is humble and proud of what he has achieved and grateful to have the opportunity to share what he’s learned to help others.  I am grateful to have become acquainted with Nick."

Avoid Costly Mistakes When Pursuing a Deal with QVC

Do not manufacture your product before you make contact with QVC.

Excerpt from “Make Millions Selling on QVC - Insider Secrets to Launch Your Product and Transform Your Business (and Life) Forever”

“…Here is the bottom line whether you intend on selling to stores or one of the major home shopping shows. Build a prototype - an accurate working model of the yet-to-be-produced product. If it comes in a kit, create the components that go in the kit along with the proposed packaging. Use the prototype to sell your idea and secure a Purchase Order. In the very least you should be able to secure a Purchase Order “contingent upon approval of a production quality finished sample.” Along with this, communicate that you need “x” days to manufacture the item...” [See Chapter 13]

See the Ball, Hit the Ball Over the Fence

My name is Nick Romer, I’ve been selling products on QVC for over 13 years and I’m one of the longest running personalities in my category. When I came up with my first idea and turned it into a saleable product I didn’t know the first thing about what to do with it or who to turn to for help.

In fact, I didn’t think anyone would want to buy it at all. Undaunted, I started to show my product to my friends and their reactions lead me to believe I might just have ‘something.’ Then, by a turn of synchronistic events, I found QVC and it changed my life and business forever.

Since my humble and often stumbling early years I’ve sold millions of dollars worth of my own products and I’ve helped many other people achieve their dreams of reaching the masses with their innovative products by introducing them to the ways and wonders of QVC.

I want you to know that if you can sell your product to one person you can likely sell it to millions. In many cases, the difference between success and failure comes down to one thing – exposure. For every Eddie Van Halen, the world renowned guitar player, there are a thousand other virtuosos sitting on their couches waling away on their guitars, undiscovered and unheard of because they never got the exposure.

In the beginning when I first got on QVC some of my friends that I hadn’t seen in a while used to ask me, “So, what else do you do for work?” I understood why they would ask me that. After all, I had one product at the time – and that one product appealed to only a small part of the population. Who could see that I could make a living from it?

But I did make a very good living from it, and I traveled to four countries to sell it on television, launched it into 23,000 stores and won numerous awards, all because of the exposure I gained from QVC - and I’ve been doing it now for over a decade.

I’ve purposely withheld from you what my products are and what they do because most people can’t believe that I could generate the kinds of checks displayed on this website from such small market items. But I will tell you now what they are so you can see the power of television.

I patented two pieces of plastic that showed artists how to make an envelope (the kind you mail) out of any kind of paper without using scissors or tracing. Among other things, I also patented a template that showed artists how to make gift bags from any kind of paper - so instead of buying a bag from a store they could custom make their own.

Who would have thought? We’re like McDonald’s now, “over a million served,” thanks to QVC.

Some people call my success luck. I call it a case of divine intervention. Much like you finding this website, I found a mentor of my own through a series of synchronistic events. I was seeking help and information on what to do and I found it. Without my mentor, I would not have been able to see the ball in order to hit it - over the fence.

There is no guarantee that you and your product have what it takes to succeed on QVC. Everything is unpredictable. One thing is certain, however, and that is without knowledge and information you might waste a lot of time and miss the magical moment of getting your product to market.

You might end up on your couch a year from now watching an inferior version of your product on TV because they got the exposure and made the connections before you did.

My book, “Make Millions Selling on QVC - Insider Secrets to Launch Your Product and Transform Your Business (and Life) Forever” is my story, my path. Yours might be entirely different.

But I wrote it because for years I have been receiving phone calls and taking meeting with cousins of neighbors of friends that heard about me and want to learn more about how the process works, what I did to get on QVC, and if I can help them.

The book contains answers that have helped many to demystify the process and to help their dreams become a reality. My experience and the sharing of it has helped many to “See the ball, hit the ball over the fence,” and it can help you, too.

"Nick Romer is tuned in to all the right channels and is a tremendous source of knowledge, wisdom and insight. Nick once told me he believes that God whispers inspired ideas and inventions to 1,000's of people at the same time...and only one or two of those people actually get up and do something about it. Nick is definitely one of those people.

His wealth of powerful information carefully collected along his very successful life journey will be a springboard for you to realize success that so far you have only dreamed about!"
